Is there a limit on how many interest points I can create?

No! Both free and premium users can create unlimited interest points. We believe everyone should be able to use the app's core functionality without restrictions.

Do notifications work without internet?

Yes! Location detection and notifications work completely offline. The geofencing system uses GPS and doesn't require an internet connection. Internet is only needed for cloud sync features (premium only).

Does the app drain my battery?

The app uses battery-optimized geofencing provided by Google Play Services. Typical battery impact is minimal, around 1-3%. The app doesn't constantly track your location - instead, it relies on efficient system-level geofencing that's designed to be power-efficient.

How accurate is the location detection?

Accuracy depends on GPS signal quality and your surroundings. In optimal conditions (outdoors with clear sky), accuracy is typically within 10-50 meters. Indoor environments or urban canyons may reduce accuracy. The minimum radius you can set is 100 meters to account for GPS variability.

What's the difference between Free and Premium?

The Free plan includes all core features: unlimited interest points, full notifications, time windows, custom radius settings, local storage, and Wear OS sync from your phone.

The Premium plan adds cloud sync, allowing you to access your interest points from multiple devices (phone and tablet) with automatic backup.

Can I try premium features before subscribing?

Yes! All premium plans include a 7-day free trial. You can experience all premium features before being charged. Cancel anytime during the trial period if it's not for you.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Google Play. To cancel:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon, then "Payments & subscriptions"
  3. Select "Subscriptions"
  4. Find Notify me Here and tap "Cancel subscription"

You'll continue to have premium access until the end of your current billing period.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data remains safe on your device. You'll lose cloud sync access, but all your interest points stored locally are preserved. If you resubscribe later, cloud sync will restore your data.

Can I switch between plans?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through Google Play. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If upgrading, you may receive prorated credit for your current plan.

Technical Questions

What Android version is required?

Notify me Here requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher. For the Wear OS companion app, you need Wear OS 2.0 or higher.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We take security seriously:

  • Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Cloud data is stored securely on Supabase with industry-standard security
  • We don't sell your data or use it for advertising
  • Local data stays on your device unless you enable cloud sync
Can I use Notify me Here on my Wear OS watch without premium?

Yes! All users can use the Wear OS app. Interest points sync automatically from your phone to your watch via Google's Wearable Data Layer when devices are in range.

Why am I not receiving notifications?

If notifications aren't working, check these common issues:

  1. Location permissions: Ensure the app has "Allow all the time" location access
  2. Battery optimization: Disable battery optimization for Notify me Here in your device settings
  3. Notification permissions: Make sure notifications are enabled for the app
  4. Interest point status: Check if the point is marked as "Already notified" - reset it to receive notifications again
  5. Time window: Verify the current date falls within your set start/end dates
